We wanted to keep our macs. We found a internet based software where you access your patients medical charts online and they do all your insurance billing and collecting.

Athena Health - http://www.athenahealth.com/

We have signed on to use these services.

Not only will this allow us to not have to purchase large amounts of hardware but also allow us to access our patients info on the web using our macs.

Right know we use eClinical a windows based software that we wanted to leave to go to macs.

This company Athena Health will help us transfer all our data from the old system to them.

The cost - it depends how big your practice is and how much you bill -

THE BEST - their fees are based on what you do - so they have an interest to make sure you get all the billing right and the more you make they make - a win win point.

Look at their web site.

Sincerely,
ffmsk
